David Knowlton

David Knowlton is a professor of anthropology at Utah Valley University with a long history in the anthropological study of Mormonism. As a teenager Knowlton often attended of the Society for Early Historic Archeology conferences and board meetings with his father where he learned many arguments about the Book of Mormon and peoples of the Americas. Undoubtedly that, along with a mission in Bolivia and way too many questions, led him to obtain a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Texas with a focus on Latin America and specifically the people of Bolivia and Peru, an interest to continues to claim his summers and much of his falls, winters, and springs.
